Few things we wanted you to remind.

1. Registrations start @ 12pm. All the Leos please be there on time.
2. In any Case your fellow Leo have not aware (invitations has not reached), please kindly inform them and make sure they attend.
3. Formal Dress Code is must
   • Gents: Office Wear (Full Sleeve Plain Shirt, Black shoes & tie). Full suit (Blazer) would be encouraged.
   • Ladies: Official Wear (anything decent).
4. Limited number of conference Special Pins are available. Interested Leos can buy.

I’m happy to inform you all that “Leo Club of Ganemulla” has been formally registered and organized the installation ceremony today the 10th of March 2009 at Beverly Reception Hall, Kadawatha.

Installation ceremony of their club has been organized in a grand way with the presence of Vice District Governor Kingsley Bernard MJF, Leo District President Leo S. Thirupparan, District Chairperson for Leos Lion V. Alagendren MJF and other dignitaries.

You all must be already aware that the Leo Youth Camp 2009, “Survivor”,will be at Action Lanka Adventure Base Camp, Kitulgala from 20th March to 22nd March 2009.

You can get the Leo Youth Camp 2009 Registration Form here. Please confirm the club participation on or before the  10th March 2009 to District President Leo Thiru on 0779 213 766 or dp@leo306b2.org.

This time the Camp Fees has been structured as follows:

• Rs. 2750.00 per Leo
• Rs. 3500.00 per Lions/ Guests

All cheques should be made in favour of ‘Leo District Council 306 B2’. Also note that the “Leo Shuttle Bus” will be leaving from Colombo Fort at 6.00 am. on 20th March.

Leo Club of Colombo Circle hosted Leo Talent Search 2009 for the third time on 22^nd of February at Lions Activity Centre, Colombo 7. Around 10 Lions and 110 Leos from 9 different Leo clubs took part in this event. Talent Search was organized in a very nice manner with different set of games and competitions. Gangster – Group Dance, Smarter than a Five – Quiz, Chaplin Comedy, Saksi show are some notable events except for the usual solo and group singing events. Famous Award winning Director and well known journalist and a musician were the judges for most of the events while some of the events were judged based on the votes of audience. Leos performed their talents extra ordinarily this time. To the surprise of every one, Leo Club of Kelaniya which is fairly new Leo club in the district became the champions.
